No it's not Halloween....This is her "purse." Ashtyn was there too, but she wouldn't let me take her picture.
Mom is showing my Auntie D, how to crochet. This is a pretty special blanket, my Granny was making it for Diane (Auntie D), when she passed away. That was 15 yrs ago. Diane is now going to complete it. Pretty neat, huh?
That was a special moment for me with the blanket throw. My Mom was the last person to have worked on it and that was 15 years ago before she passed away. My heart was beating so hard with the thought of it.
ReplyDeleteOh that is cool. I love the blankets that I have that were made by my grandmothers hands. I hold them very dear- and she is still alive, but no longer can make the blankets.
