Today, I got to watch my brave cousin Bonnie legally become Mom to precious Anius. Bonnie was Anius' nurse & he stole her heart. So, she opened her home & world to him. She has tirelessly mothered this little treasure. And today Anius now has her last name. I am thankful for love, because it is boundless. It's not always easy, but the rewards are infinite. I am thankful for family, because they are not always blood related, but heart born. And I am thankful that I got to witness such an act of selfless love. And in the words of Anius just after the adoption was official "I'm feelin' happy."
