This is a conversation Mom had with Mercy. They had dropped me off at my house & as they were going back down the drive-way they saw Rocco in the window howling.
Mercy: Nana, why do you only have birds & no dogs at your house?
Mom: Because Papa doesn't like dogs.
Mercy: Papa likes my dogs. When he comes to my house he pets them (Patches & Rudy).
Mom: He doesn't really like them, he wants you to just think he does.
Mercy: Well, now I know the truth!
