This year Mercy got to go with us. Since Mom's vehicle is in the shop & they had to take Danny's truck, Mercy rode with us. And we chatted all the way there...Amongst the "Are we there yet's?"

Mom rode on the 2nd hayride & she had to have a chair. So, she thought she was the queen.
Greg & his whistlin' weenie. This is one funny man! He cracks me up!
Mercy crashed.
The little girls were in the house sleeping & the rest of us were sitting around the fire talking. Beth had told us earlier about hearing some animal that sounded like it was screaming & she had also see a large black cat, possibly a panther. Well, we started hearing the "scream" also. And it was getting closer & closer. All of us females, grabbed all the food & high-tailed it to the house! The guys stayed out by the fire for a while longer & came in saying it was a Screech Owl. I listened the the Screech Owl sounds online & that was no Screech Owl.
I so look forward every year to the hayride & this year did not disappoint. It was a blast!

Could have been a panther... I know they do scream, I've heard they can sound like a woman screaming! Scary! Glad ya'll had a good time!
