What A Day!

Yesterday we had a good morning, with some very encouraging news. On our way home, we stopped for our favorite breakfast place, Chick-fil-A. Those are the best chicken biscuits!
D brought me home & then he went on to work. He wasn't gone long, when I beeped him to remind him of something, when he tells me, the tire just blew out.
He put on the spare & came home. He wasn't able to go into work, because he had to go buy a new tire. Mom took him to Walmart & I hung out with Mercy, while they were gone. By this time a migraine had crept it's way into my neck & head. Which was made so much better, with Mercy, making sure my princess crown was 'just so' on my head.

D came home, put the new tire on & was very frazzled at this point. The main reason was because the tire blew out in a very busy section of the road. So it freaked him out a bit. He said he just wanted to blow up something. Thankfully the PS2 came in handy.

Everything was nice & calm, then all of a sudden Razzy attacked Rocco. That always unnerves you. Razzy just needs to be fixed. One of our 2008 goals.

We were given 2 sets of very nice blinds, so since D was home, he decided to install them. He got one set up, with much frustration. Then he put the second set up, to realize it was broken! So down it came & a set of curtains went up.

The rest of the evening was pretty mellow, including a huge rain storm. Praise the Lord for the rain! And just as LA Ink was going off, so did the power! We heard a transformer blow. It was so dark in our house, we couldn't find each other for a few minutes. We went to bed not long afterwards. The power came back on close to 2am, which woke us up, when all the lights came on.

The thing that was constant throughout the day, was that I never lost my joy. Ever notice, how when the Lord is working in you, Satan seems to work twice as hard to steal it? Well, he ain't stealing nothing from me!
