Did You?

Did send you out engagement announcements? I don't think I have ever received one. I have gotten graduation announcements & birth announcements, but not engagement. I think they would be a great idea if the couple are planning a long engagement. But most people I know, get married within a year of becoming engaged. D & I sure didn't have a reason to announce our engagement, since we only know one another 5 months when we married. But if we had been engaged longer, I think we may have sent something like this, since we married on the beach.
