Netflix vs Blockbuster
We've been doing the Netflix thing for almost a yr now. We LOVE LOVE LOVE it! One thing that is great is there are shows we never watched that we are now catching up on, all in a row, without commercials. Plus we see the latest films as soon as they come out on DVD. Mel had told me that they get Blockbuster for the same price, we pay for Netflix. As well as a free e-coupon once a month for a free instore video or game rental. I have been trying to convince D for months to change over. He doesn't seem to like change very well & digs those size 13's into the ground. Tonight he was finally ready to switch over after seeing a commercial that compared Blockbuster to Netflix. We also learned that you can take the DVD's you get in the mail to the store & exchange them for new films. ALL for the same exact price! So we are now Blockbusters! Thanks Mel for encouraging me. :) And if you are considering Netflix, go for Blockbuster instead.

ReplyDeleteWe did Netflix for a couple of months. It was OK. We would just forget to send them back. It just wasn't a good fit for us I guess. I agree Blockbuster is better.
ReplyDeleteWe had netflix but we canceled b/c we never have time to watch movies... mainly its Dora or Barney :) But blockbuster's would sound better... IF we had a blockbuster around here!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah we tried Netflix..and it just didn't work so well for us. We just decided it was easier to run to Blockbuster when we wanted a movie.

ReplyDeleteIt's $17.99, plus tax for 3 unlimited DVD'S a month. But when you think of how much it costs to check out a DVD or game, it's a super great deal, plus no late fees & you get to keep it as long as you want too.
