We rearranged the living room & for the very first time D gave his input. I'm always asking him how he thinks we should do things & he always says he doesn't know. But this time, he pretty much come up with the concept himself. I was proud! The Bitty Buddies helped & they were so wore out they collasped in Dad's lap.
We got a table & chairs from Freecycle. And then spent the rest of the weekend working on it. Including 2 trips to Home Depot.
Here are the before & after pics. Vanna...I mean Molly...Is showing off the after. I covered the chairs in fabric I'm using for the curtains in the living room & kitchen. I'm not sure what I want to do to the top of the table. Any suggestions?
I put this 'new' table in the living room, so we can use it for games & crafts!
D woke me up early one morning, after being bit by a scorpion....IN OUR BED!!!
While out in the yard, spray painting the chairs, I tripped in one of the holes that Razzy so lovingly worked on. And yep! I fell again. What the heck is up with me & tripping & falling? In the last year I have fallen 4 times! I think I'm officially the clumsiest person I know.
Between all of this we watched some episodes of Six Feet Under & Prison Break. We have never seen SFU, before & they had the 1st Season at the library. We got sucked in (even though the show can be a bit racy) & have now added the rest of the seasons to Netflix. We got Prison Break because I didn't watch last season until the last few episodes, so I had alot to catch up on.
WOW!! The set looks great. Personally, I like the top as it is.

Hubby & I just started watching Prison Break too. We liked it but we have *so* many other shows we are in to! Ugggggg!
Six Feet Under is one of my absolute favorite shows. I was so sad when it ended. :( Let me know what your thoughts are on it.
ReplyDeleteYou'll enjoy the Prison Break episodes.... it's a very intelligent show. The epsiodes began really coming together at the end of the season. The characters developed more and we came to understand why Scofield was so adament about getting his brother out of prison.

ReplyDeleteI'm a natural wood fanatic. I love the grain of wood and prefer not to paint it unless it's something built with paint grade wood. I love it like it is and 'since you asked' I would leave it that way.
